ProdQueue implementation services

Go live without figuring out the production workflow alone.

Choose guided configuration using ProdQueue’s standard capabilities, or commission bespoke development when your process needs custom fields, automation, scanning, reporting or integrations.

Already using ProdQueue and need technical help? Contact support.

Choose the right route

Configuration or custom development?

Both services are optional. If standard ProdQueue and the documentation are enough, you can set it up yourself.

Starting from £495

Done-for-you setup

Configure ProdQueue’s standard capabilities around one real order flow, test it safely, and hand it over ready for your team.

  • Standard ProdQueue already supports the workflow
  • You want installation, configuration, testing and training
  • You want to launch without commissioning custom code

The boundary: Uses existing ProdQueue features. Custom code, integrations and data migration are not included.

Starting from £2,500

Bespoke workflow development

Design and build maintainable custom behaviour when an important production step sits beyond the standard plugin.

  • You need custom fields, scanning, automation, reporting or integrations
  • People or systems hand work between several production stages
  • The requirement needs written acceptance criteria and review cycles

The boundary: Involves custom development. Final deliverables, timing and price are agreed in a written proposal before work begins.

Prices are starting points. Final scope, timing and price are confirmed after the enquiry has been reviewed and before anything is booked or built.

Starting from £495

Done-for-you setup

Teams whose workflow already fits ProdQueue, but who want help installing, configuring, testing and training.

What you will have at handover

  • A configured store using a tested production flow
  • Tracked products showing useful shop-floor attributes
  • Operators confident with queue, status and priority updates
  • A clear support window after handover

What is not included

  • The ProdQueue licence, purchased separately through WooCommerce.com
  • Custom code, third-party integrations or data migration
  • Unrelated theme, hosting or plugin troubleshooting
  • Third-party software or service charges

Deliverables

Workflow discovery call

We walk through how orders move today, which products should create jobs, and which attributes your team needs on each job.

Installation and configuration

ProdQueue is installed and configured for your trigger status, completion behaviour, and queue settings.

Product and job-trigger setup

Tracked products and the attributes that matter on the shop floor are set up so jobs appear with useful context.

Test orders and workflow checks

We place test orders, confirm jobs create correctly, and check the status flow your team will actually use.

Team training and handover

A short handover covers the queue, filters, priorities, and day-to-day updates for the people who will use it.

14 days of implementation support

After handover, you have a short window of support for setup questions that come up once real orders start flowing.

Starting from £2,500

Bespoke workflow development

Established production teams with specific shop-floor steps, reporting needs, or systems that ProdQueue should work alongside.

What you will have at handover

  • Custom behaviour built against agreed acceptance checks
  • A workflow tested on staging where available
  • Documentation for operation and maintenance
  • A maintainable companion-plugin approach where appropriate

What is not included

  • Work outside the agreed written scope
  • Third-party licences, subscriptions or usage charges
  • Unrelated WooCommerce, hosting or theme repairs
  • Ongoing maintenance unless it is included in the proposal

Deliverables

Custom production fields

Capture the extra details your team needs on a job, beyond the standard attributes ProdQueue already exposes.

Workflow automations

Automate status changes, reminders, or hand-offs that currently rely on memory, spreadsheets or side channels.

Barcode or scanning features

Speed up updates on the shop floor with scanning-friendly flows where that fits your process.

Reports and dashboards

Give operators or managers a clearer view of backlog, throughput, or work waiting on a particular attribute.

Connections to existing systems

Bridge ProdQueue with tools you already rely on when a standalone queue is not enough.

Companion plugin where appropriate

Larger custom work can ship as a separate companion plugin so your core ProdQueue install stays clean and maintainable.

What happens next

A clear path from enquiry to handover.

The recommendation starts with the real workflow, not a predetermined package.

  1. Step 1

    Describe the workflow

Send the essentials. You do not need to write a full specification or share sensitive access details.

  2. Step 2

    Get a fit recommendation

We review the gap and recommend Done-for-you setup, bespoke development, or self-service if that is enough.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm scope and price

Nothing is booked or built until the deliverables, assumptions, timing and price are agreed.

  4. Step 4

    Implement, test and hand over

We work on staging or in a controlled window, check the agreed flow, and hand it over to the team.

Built with production operations in mind

£10.5m+

In WooCommerce sales managed through the production workflow ProdQueue grew from.

Start with the real order flow. Test before launch. Keep WooCommerce as the source of truth.

Implementation follows the same practical approach as the original workflow. Staging is preferred, sensitive access details stay out of the enquiry form, and bespoke work is agreed in writing before development begins.

Common questions

Know what happens before you enquire.

Is the ProdQueue licence included?

No. ProdQueue is purchased separately through WooCommerce.com. The implementation service covers the agreed configuration or development work.

What makes a request bespoke?

If the requirement needs custom code, such as new production fields, automation, scanning, reporting or an integration, it belongs in bespoke workflow development rather than Done-for-you setup.

Do I need to know which option I need?

No. Choose “Not sure” on the enquiry form and describe the current workflow and desired outcome. We will recommend self-service, Done-for-you setup or bespoke development.

Will you need access to the live store?

Staging is preferred where available. If live access is necessary, the timing and safe access method are agreed before work starts. Never send passwords or API keys through the enquiry form.

What happens if self-service is enough?

We will say so and point you to the relevant documentation. There is no obligation to book implementation help.
